College FeesApplication FeeThere is a non-refundable application fee of HK$800 to offset administration costs. DepositUpon offer of a place there is a 2 month deposit of HK$15,460 for Primary and HK$20,680 for Secondary. The first half of the deposit is offset against the first month’s fees while the remaining half will be credited against the fees for the last month of enrolment, subject to a two-month advance notice of withdrawal in writing. The two-month deposit is non-refundable if the school place is not subsequently taken up. School FeesFor Primary students (Years 1-6), the current school fee for 2011-12 is HK$77,300 per annum. Increases in school fees are subject to approval by the Education Bureau. Non-refundable Building Fund (NBF)It is proposed to introduce a Non-refundable Building Fund (NBF) for all students from August 2012, to help pay back the College's initial construction costs, as well as provide money for ongoing repairs and refurbishment of facilities. Whilst the exact amount is still being worked out it is likely that it could be up to HK$9,500 per year for each student and it is anticipated this can be spread out over 10 equal monthly instalments. Options are being explored that would allow for the reduction of this figure to ensure that the impact to parents will be kept to a minimum. Holders of a Nomination Rights will be exempt from paying the Non-Refundable Building Fund (NBF) that may be applied to non-Nomination Rights holders. |
