MYP Yr 1 | Arts (Visual Arts) | Course Overview

Throughout the Year 7 course, students will be developing skills in both theoretical understanding of art and practical application skills within their own artworks. They will look at how visual artists have influenced society and what roles the play in the community. Through their artwork they will explore how they are a reflection of their environment, and in what ways they can change how they see the world in which they live.

MYP assessment criterion: B – Application,  C – Reflection & Evaluation, D – Personal Engagement
Indication of summative assessment: Illustration of combination animals, presentation/analysis of animal traits.
