Hi, my name is Tanya Surawski, and I am an Australian who grew up in Brisbane Australia. I have been teaching for 18 years, fifteen of these have been in international school settings. I have been working in education with the IBPYP for over ten years now in The Netherlands, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia. This is my third year in Hong Kong and DC. I am passionate about helping children to become thoughtful and caring citizens of the world and enjoy all the challenges this deceptively simple vision brings. When my two children leave me with some time, I enjoy dancing, running, pilates, swimming and the occasional hike in Hong Kong's hills.
