I joined Discovery College in 2008 having taught design and technology and information technology for ten years in the UK. I have also spent time in schools in Holland as part of my teaching degree and taught for three years in a village school in Tanzania (which was about as different an experience to working in Discovery Bay as possible!) Having visited Hong Kong many years ago, I'm now thoroughly enjoying living here - especially when comparing the weather between here and my home town in Berkshire. A keen sailor and poor tennis and squash player, but otherwise very much an armchair sports fan, I also like to relax by reading, walking and simply exploring the different areas of this fascinating city.
